Physical Health and Disability Services

Each community member will experience challenges to physical health and wellness. Challenges community members may experience include:

  • Disease,

  • Injury,

  • Ageing, and

  • Physical disability.

Reduced physical health and wellness may impact members in a number of ways including:

  • Reduced involvement and effectiveness in workplace and community participation, and

  • Mental health and wellness.

Strategies to avoid or address reduced physical health and wellness include:

  • Workplace health and safety,

  • Promotion of physical health and wellness, and

  • Access to physical health practitioners.
